Short description of the group/project/topic of research

Our team is interested in the interplay between the 3D organization of the genome in the nucleus and the regulation of gene expression. Our research aims to define the 3D structures into which the genome is organized in detail; to identify the mechanisms by which these structures form; and to decipher how gene expression is regulated in this 3D environment. To this end, we use a combination of approaches based on genomics, microscopy, and computational analyses in cellular and non-cellular model systems. Our lab offers an international, multidisciplinary, and collaborative working environment. We are looking for a talented and motivated postdoctoral researcher with a strong interest in genome organization and regulation. The project will involve a combination of approaches based on molecular and computational biology and will be tailored to the specific interests of the successful candidate.
