We are a group of natural scientists interested in the molecular mechanisms of neurotransmission. We employ a multidisciplinary approach, including structural biology (cryo-EM), biochemistry, mass spectrometry, light microscopy, cell biology and molecular biology. We are a newly established research team (since April 2026) with access to core facilities for light and electron microscopy, flow cytometry, and mass spectrometry.
Current projects on offer are aimed at dissecting the molecular basis of neurotransmitter receptor assembly. To get a flavour of the approach, see PMID: 39553992.
Multiple positions are open, and we are seeking candidates with the following profiles:
(1) A cell biologist/geneticist with prior experience in conducting pooled CRISPR screens, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence microscopy, mammalian cell culture, and cell-based assays.
(2) A biochemist with experience in in-vitro translation, biochemical reconstitution, membrane protein purification, HPLC
(3) A molecular neurobiologist with hands-on experience working with primary neuronal cultures, iPSC-derived neuronal cultures, immunofluorescence microscopy and cell-based assays.
